Institute for Tibetan Thangka Art

Share

An undetermined amount of Tibetan art was destroyed during the PRC’s ‘cultural revolution’.
The Institute of Tibetan Thangka Art is based in Dharamsala, India; it is a non-profit, and is a free, five-year program.
Students study under master painters and are creating beautiful works.
Built On Respect created a website for the small school so that it was able to have a presence on a more global stage.
The school is in need of donations for art supplies for the students. You can also contact the school via the site to commission a piece.
